Woo Hoo! I just read about the new Import feature on WP and tried importing posts from my old blog and it worked beautifully. Formatted my posts properly, imported the comments too.
WordPress rocks. Thanks you guys, as Ross would say. 
PS: The import feature is simple to use as well. More brownie points for WP.
